6 Custom Firmware Flashing Through JAF Tutorial for Nokia 5800

Software that you need is JAF in your PC and Firmware files you can download from Navifirm by pointing it your 5800 Product Code and Firmware Number. After Firmware download.

1. Download JAF 1.98.62.exe & JAF PKEY Emulator v5.0

2. http://www.funkruti.com/music/jaf_emulator.zip

3. Install JAF 1.98.62 from jaf setup.exe

4. Extract JAF PKEY Emulator v5.0 to desktop (will emulate jaf tool box).

JAF will load files from here so copy your firmware files here: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nokia\DataPackage\Products\RM-356\

or

C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\Products\RM-356

Then Open JAF it starts with Box Driver Not Installed Dialog box it dont matters just move on.

go to “bb5″ tab and select “Manual Flash” , “Dead Usb”, and uncheck CRT 308

and now click ini and select RM-356 all lights show green if not click and select firmware file with “.C00″ extension , click PPM and select ROFS 2 file thats is the modded file you download from here and click CNT and select Rofs3 file.
